Merab Kiladze, MD, is heading the Department of General & Minimally Invasive Surgery, Caraps Medline. He graduated from Tbilisi State Medical University, Faculty of General Medicine. Mr Merab accomplished his internship on basic laparascopic surgery at Atlanta Medical Center, USA and St. Augustine Hospital, Modena, Italy.

Mr Merab Kiladze is a board member of the Association for Endoscopic Surgeons of Mediterranean and Middle East Countries. Also, he is a national delegate from Georgia to the European Society for Surgeons. Since 2007 he has been the president of the Georgian Association for Minimally Invasive Surgeons.

In 2012 Mr Merab Kiladze was awarded with a Medal of Honor by the President of Georgia.
