Since 2012 Tamaz jikia has been working for Caraps Medline as a surgeon. Mr Tamaz obtained his graduate diploma at the State Medical Institute in Crimea.

Since 1979 his postgraduate medical studies focused on surgery.

In 2006 Mr Tamaz Jikia was awarded the Doctor of Medcine degree (MD).
