Colposcopy with DySIS Colposcope

Colposcopy is a medical diagnostic procedure to provide microscopic examination of the cervix to detect cervical abnormalities. To perform the procedure Caraps Medline offers a topnotch ZEISS colposcope, being also applied for forensic purposes due to its high precision.

Colposcope is a unique device which enables to automatically detect lesions after the application of acetic acid to the cervix allowing a colposcopist to distinguish normal from abnormal appearing tissue and following the interpretation of the colposcopy findings to take directed biopsy if needed.

STORZ Diagnostic Office Hysteroscopy

Hysteroscopy is a pain-free procedure to inspect, with the use of an optical device, uterine cavity to diagnose and treat uterine diseases (e.g. polyps, adhesions, fibroids).

Office hysteroscopy is an innovative technological method applied to dilate cervix. The procedure does not require anesthesia or keeping a patient in hospital. The procedure performed by the STORZ hysteroscope is pain-free and the duration ranges from five to ten minutes. The device enables to diagnose intrauterine diseases such as hysteromyoma, endometriosis, chronic endometriosis, uterine abnormalities and etc.

Diagnosing Infections through Primary (direct) Immunofluorescence (PIF) Technique

The technique is based on the visualization of a microbe with a fluorescence microscope. Infectious diseases undetectable via regular microscope can be detected through PIF technique. In particular the technique is applied to examine Chlamydia, ureaplasma, mycoplasma. The technique is the only solution to diagnose highly sensitive trichomoniasis, which enables us to identify atopic forms of trichomoniasis.

CO2 Laser Vaporization of Vulvar / Vaginal / Cervical Condylomas

Condylomas associated with human papillomavirus (HPV) are a widespread sexually transmittable disease, therefore their timely and effective treatment, as a precancerous prevention is highly significant. The advantage of the technique is the reduction in relapse and the possibility to be applied in the women of reproductive age.

CO2 Laser Conization of Cervix

CO2 laser conization of tissue is a unique technique. It is a noninvasive surgical procedure performed without any direct intervention with the tissue. The laser beam directed at the affected area destroys/vaporizes (through the application of microscope and micromanipulator) abnormal tissue as well as pathological microflora. Advantage: it does not have negative effects on reproductive health, within four to six weeks reparation process is complete and cervix is fully recovered without scar formation.

Atmos Strobo 21 LED – High-Frequency radio wave device

A radio wave knife is applied to provide a cone-shaped removal of the abnormality. The temperature in the affected area does not exceed 45-55 ℃. The procedure does not lead to thermal necrosis and the risk of the development of post-surgery inflammation is minimized.

Cryodestruction of Cervical, Vulvar Condylomas

The procedure can be performed under the colposcope following the application of acetic acid which enables to identify the extent of the lesion. Liquid nitrogen freezes the target tissue within approximately three minutes. The procedure is carried out with CRY-AC Tracker Cam and the duration ranges from 12 to 15 minutes.
