Professor Levan Ramishvili is a highly experienced head and neck surgeon, endocrine surgeon, and oncologist with over 31 years in the medical field. He is the Head of the Endocrine Surgery Department at Caraps Medlin.
He graduated from Tbilisi State Medical University, Faculty of Dentistry, and later completed his residency in maxillofacial oncology, followed by postgraduate studies in oncology. Alongside his clinical practice, Professor Ramishvili has more than six years of academic and teaching experience and actively takes part in international courses and training to stay at the forefront of his specialty.
Deeply involved in scientific research, he has contributed to numerous studies as a lead researcher. Notably, Professor Ramishvili introduced and implemented the transoral thyroidectomy technique in Georgia, pioneering a new approach to thyroid surgery in the country.
